Resolved, Take 5,622

I have a (stretch) goal to be down to 125 pounds by June 1st. I won't mention how many pounds away that is, but suffice to say it is a worthy and attainable goal.

I'm jumping back on the vitamin/supplement bandwagon again, and I must reiterate how much I like Puritan's Pride's website, for the amount of information it provides, as well as their "Buy Two Get Three Free" sales. I'm back to taking:

Multivitamin - overall health
Vitamin C (1000mg daily) - immune system (Vitamin C is an antioxidant)
5-HTP (100mg daily) - depression (5-HTP is used by the body to make serotonin)
L-Carnitine (1000mg daily) - weight loss (aids in the metabolism of fat)
Chromium (500mcg daily) - weight loss (plays an essential role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats)
Selenium-E (200mcg daily) - anticarcinogen, antioxidant (also helps with asthma - selenium is combined with vitamin E to assist with absorption)
Lysine (1000mg daily) - prevents the occurrence of cold sores, which I've been prone to since childhood
Calcium (1000mg daily) - healthy bones
Vitamin A/D (10,000/400 iu) - increases absorption of calcium, aids in cell production and vision
Multi Digestive Enzymes - to aid in digestion

I'm back to using the on-line version of Fit Day, so for the diet voyeurs out there, you can see my public page (also linked on the side bar).

The current goals are simple, since I tend to over-complicate things (Heather says I like to research too much). Eat between 1100 and 1300 calories a day, and work out for 1 hour, five days a week. Eventually I'll put the weight/measurements status chart back up, but not yet.

Sigh. Here I go again.
