I know exactly how you feel. Many were the times I bemoaned the day in and day out predictable HOT in Las Vegas. I'd tell you it gets better, only it doesn't. You're doomed (heh) to be one of those people who run outside when you hear the distant rumble of thunder, hoping like hell for even a single raindrop to fall on your upturned face.
But on the upside? You'll appreciate that raindrop way more than you ever did when you were in Maine. I know I did.
