New entry

Calvin's rebuttal from my "books is stoopid" entry.

Seriously. Any man who will take the time to defend his stance AND proceed to refer to his wife as "as good as it gets" is an awesome guy in my "book". Regardless of whether or not he can/does/wants to/doesn't care to read.

Kudos to you guys for once again proving that true love can actually be fun!

My eyes hurt. Must have been the rolling. ;)

First let me declare that I am an avid reader, I always have been and for me reading is informative often amusing and mostly just pleasurable. However reading Calvin’s response really made me reconsider how I must often appear to any non-reader who has the misfortune to spend time with me and it is a bit of shock to realise that I must look rather like any other addict i.e. I loose myself for hours, days sometimes whole weekends in books and have nothing concrete to show for it I spend excessive amounts funding this selfish pastime and can’t imagine I could ever give it up. Yes just another addict!

my hubby teases me about reading books over and over again. But it doesn't annoy him that I do Read as much as I do. and let me tell you, I read a TON, and Own a TON of books.
he does make fun of me sometimes though. :)
