Beating my own record

Today, I have managed to beat my own record for being anal. In writing the shopping list for the next couple of weeks (in Excel), what with the kids coming and the planned baking and the lobster dinner and whatnot, not only did I categorize everything by type (dairy, baking, meats, etc.), but then I put the categories in the order that they appear in the store, to enable the fastest route through the store and on my way again.

A special place in hell is reserved for uptight people like me. There's being organized, and then there's just plain crazy.
