Happy Saturday

Calvin and I are cleaning the house together and listening to the Christmas mix CD I made years ago. We sang "Holly Jolly Christmas" and talked about how we're going to create the same special innocent childhood feeling of Christmas-time that we had when we were little, for Devlin and Anthony.

It's raining. "Ave Maria" just came on. I love Pavoratti. I love today.

Welcome to my Friday

1. Go with Calvin to his stress test.
2. Go to the gym.
3. Write and mail 65 Christmas cards.
4. Burn and ship 18 mix CD's.
5. Do (fucking) laundry.
6. Do (fucking) housework.
7. Get the tires rotated on the truck and get the oil changed.
8. Go grocery shopping.
9. Go to Target for tinsel, tree lights, stocking holders, stockings, ornaments, a tree stand, a tree skirt, picture hangers, picture frames, wrapping paper, bows, scotch tape, and stocking stuffers.
10. Collapse in a heap.

Wicked

Calvin went to have an echocardiogram yesterday, and I went along (because he never tells me the whole story when he goes to the doctor's alone). I got to watch his heart beating on the monitor. It was SO COOL.
