Reading List

I've updated the reading list this morning. At the bottom of the page is a list of ten books, the names of which I couldn't remember. Thanks mostly to my fabulous readers, there remains only ONE book whose name I can't remember or find in any Google search. Only one, which will drive me crazy.

A book about a boy who can transfer his consciousness into the minds of animals. In the end, he gets kicked in the head by a horse while his mind is in another animal, and is trapped outside of his dead body. I read it when I was about thirteen.

Anyone?

Eee-yeew!

No more gauze - I'm managing the lingering pain with Tylenol and Advil. But it is absolutely astonishing how much food can hide in the holes in my mouth.

Mmm. Roast beef sandwich and Doritos debris. Yummy.

Drumroll, please!

I've been wearing gauze dressing in the holes in my mouth for nearly three weeks. I tried getting it removed last Friday, but then had to turn around an hour later and get more put in because the pain was still just awful. I got another dose put in on Tuesday, with instructions to come back on Friday for another assessment.

The gauze on one side fell out today. So! I am dressing-less and nervously analyzing every twinge in my jaw to see if the pain is going to come back. Cross your fingers, I don't want to have to pack my mouth any more!

Okay, everyone who was on Notify List should have received their invite to join Yahoo Groups. There were a couple of folks who were unable to accept invitations, so just send an e-mail , or visit the group site. I won't be sending out messages from Notify List from here on out, so join up!!
