New Notify List

Hey, gang!  I'm in the process of switching the notify for Snerkology from Notify List over to Yahoo Groups.  I'm sending out invitations to everyone that's on the current Notify List, but it may take a couple of days because I can't sent out too many invites at once.  Yahoo Groups defines that as spam and the group will get shut down if I do too many at a time.

So!  If you're on the current list, hang out for a few days and you should be seeing the invite come along.  If you're not on the current list, you can join by sending an e-mail here , or visit the group site.

New Blog

Prompted by the really screwed up dream I had recently, I've decided to keep a blog to document my dreams. It's called Waking Mind.

I'm not even interested in reading about my OWN dreams, which is why I decided to make it a separate blog, instead of writing about my dreams here. That way, if no one is interested, then I won't drive people away from Colloquial. I'm keeping it very simple - I didn't even bother to host it myself, like this blog and Operation::Goddess. It's hosted through Blogger entirely.

I guess I just felt the need to get some of these dreams written down, for my own sake. I doubt I'll even make an attempt at interpretation - something I don't really believe in, anyway - but if anyone has any theories on these dreams as I post them, well, feel free to leave comments!

A Mystery

Okay! So someone out there sent me lilac body spray and lotion for my birthday from some company in Arizona (Payson I think), and there is no indication of who it was from! If it was YOU (you know who you are!), could you e-mail me so I can thank you properly?

Mere hours

There are mere hours left of my 20's. I still don't know how I feel about that. I suspect that it'll take me until I'm 34 to decide how I feel about being in my 30's.

This is allowed on the morning news?

The local news is buzzing with rumors about Randy Johnson's (AZ Diamondbacks pitcher) potential trade to the Yankees. This morning, the local country radio station DJ's (who chat with the news anchors on-camera most mornings) decided to play a song about it.

And the chorus goes...

"Hey Yankees, keep your hands off my Johnson..."
