New one
There's a new entry up at the journal - nothing exciting, just a lot of talk about yoga.
Take care!

Funk
The funk, it continues. Not helped, I'm quite sure, by the fact that I woke up last night just before midnight and couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned, got up and watched "LOTR: Two Towers" on cable, went back to bed around 3:00, and then had little fits of sleep interrupted by long stretches of tossing. Today, my head is made of mud.
Several folks have asked me at work if I'm okay. Which, you know, is nice of them and all. I'm just glad they accept the, "Yeah, I'm fine!" response instead of making me talk. I'm stressed. I'm tired. I'm blue. Got an hour?
I can't stop thinking. About work, about money, about working out and eating right, about my upcoming wisdom teeth-ectomy, about how I want to buy new clothes, some more about work, about vacations we want to take and how to save for them. I got home early yesterday, worked out, and relaxed in a bubble bath with a glass of wine in order to try to get my brain to shut the hell up. It didn't work. The three fruity rum drink thingies I had with our anniversary dinner helped somewhat. But then it was back up again at midnight with my brain doing a hampster wheel freak-out.
I went home at lunch to pick up Marie and give her a ride to work. On the way back to AcronymCo, I stopped at the library and got "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", the new one by Anne McCaffrey, and the new one by Lois McMaster Bujold. My brain needs to be TURNED OFF. And that's my goal for this weekend. Reading relaxes me, and that's really what I need to do right now.

AlphaBytes Archive
Oh, and I did want to mention that I put together an archive of the entries I did for AlphaBytes.
New Entry
There's a new entry up at Snerkology. I took the slacker's way out and posted a bunch of recipes in order to satisfy S through Z for AlphaBytes. Hey, it's all I was good for today.
