Crazy
I want to write an entry, but I simply don't have the time. Today has been one of those days where everything is serving to jolly well PISS ME OFF. From the stupid reading of my stupid English essay in which the stupid other kids made fun of me for using "big words" like "garrulous" and "anachronism" and "camaraderie" and "colloquialism", to the stupid line of cars waiting to get out of the school parking lot, to the stupid driver from Nebraska who played keeper of the speed, to the first drive-thru that I drove up to, and then passed because it was crazy busy, to the stupid lid on the drink that I bought at a second drive-thru that was on loose and caused me to drop my drink in the parking lot, to the stupid turnstyle that wouldn't read my badge and stranded me in the AcronymCo entry, to the stupid time studies that are forcing me to wear my hair up for eleventy-seven days in a row (hair has to be off the shoulders in the cleanroom), and I look like I'm twelve frickin' years old with my hair up...
Huff.
I wimped out of working out yesterday, and didn't get up early to do my cardio this morning, which means that I have to do both my cardio and my weight training tonight when I get home, and then make dinner, and then do a bazillion hours of Microeconomics homework, when all I want to do is CRASH CRASH CRASH.
Huff again.
BUT. An antidote to all this crap is this little bit of newsy news that I have to share: Michael called me yesterday to inform us that Lilly is expecting their second child. AND (though I'm afraid I'll jinx it by actually writing this down) they're planning on coming out for a visit in a few weeks, right around Michael's birthday. AND I won't have to clean out their bathroom because I already did it in prep for the happy hour we held at our house last week, and no one ended up going upstairs to use it. AND their bedroom is already neat and tidy.
How's that for a bright side to my crazy week?
