Dragging Ass
Ugh. I am so damned whupped today. I've been pushing myself really hard in my workouts - doing a higher level for a longer time on the elliptical first thing in the damned morning (yee-uck), doing harder abs exercises (still love the yoga ball thingy), and doing heavier weights with more reps, in the evening.
I'm feeling stiff and sore and decidedly creaky.
I've also had a much decreased appetite - probably because of the weather (who wants to eat when it's hot?). So, fewer meals, combind with working out twice a day... well, perhaps this damned time I'll see some damned results.
Dammit.
BUT, the increased exercise and decreased calories also means that I'm dragging ass. This morning was especially hard, and now I'm sitting here, blearily blinking at my computer. I'm not looking forward to going to school, and not looking forward to an all-afternoon meeting hosted by a person who grates on my nerves at the best of times, and totally pisses me off at the worst of times. Then after work I need to stop at the grocery store again (I did a shopping run last night after work, too), then go home and clean some more (Calvin and I cleaned for a while last night, too) in prep for Thursday's happy hour, and get the chili going in the crock pot which will be served at the happy hour, and make whatever else can be pre-made, and work out, and deal with dinner...
And maybe whine some more. I'm so. damned. tired.

They better get it right
"A Wrinkle in Time" is airing on "The Wonderful World of Disney" on May 15th on ABC.
As ever, I am sceptical of made-for-TV translations of books. Case in point, The Mists of Avalon.
Thanks, Eliza, for the head's up!
