The Most Perfect Baby in the World

Robert Anthony was born at 7:26 this morning, weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches! Mother, baby, and Daddy are doing very, very well.

I'm in tears. I can't believe it.

Baby Update, Part the Third

Michael just called to say that Lilly is doing well. She's been pushing for the last three hours and is progressing nicely, and she's not in any pain. He sounds WICKED tired.

Any time now! If there was ever a day that we didn't want to go to work, today would be it!

Baby Update

So Michael and Lilly are still at home, Lilly's still having contractions, and the doctor told them to wait until she progressed further before coming into the hospital. They have a scheduled appointment at 10:00 tomorrow morning to see how she's coming along.

We talked to Michael earlier, and Lilly was asleep - so at least she's able to rest comfortably. Stay tuned for more updates!

It Has Begun!

Michael called this morning to say that Lilly has gone into labor. They're on the way to the hospital! I activated the phone tree network and let all the relatives know, so the praying's going on fast and furious over here. If she has the baby this week (and it's not a false alarm!), we're thinking of driving over on Friday and staying over a long weekend to visit and help out.

I'm almost a Grandma!!! :)
